Tivo IPTV Troubleshooting

Nearly every issue traces back to one of three things: the internet connection, a mistyped sign-in, or one channel’s feed being down for a while. Run through the checks below, and if nothing here helps, message support with exactly what you’re seeing.

First, the 60-second checklist

  • Is the device online? Open a website or another streaming app to confirm.
  • Is your subscription still within its term?
  • Restart the player app, then restart the device.
  • Try three or four different channels — is it everything, or just one?
  • On Wi-Fi? Try a wired connection or move closer to the router.

Common issues

Buffering is almost always the connection between your device and the internet. Test your speed on the same device; switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection or move closer to the router; close other apps that use bandwidth; and, in your player, lower the stream quality or turn on hardware decoding. If only one channel buffers while others are fine, that source is having a problem — try again later.

When to contact support

If every channel fails on a device you know is online, or a login is rejected after you have re-checked it, message support on WhatsApp. Include your order reference, the device and app you are using, and a photo of any error message. See the contact page for all the ways to reach us.
