How to Set Up Tivo IPTV
On every device it comes down to the same three moves: get an IPTV player app, open it, and enter the details you were sent after ordering. Choose your device below for the exact taps. If a step describes a sign-in that doesn’t match your details, use the other one — some accounts use a username, password and server address, others use a single playlist link.
Windows & Mac
- Install a desktop IPTV player — IPTV Smarters Pro and VLC both work.
- Open the app. In IPTV Smarters, choose to add a new user/playlist.
- Enter your details: either the username, password and server URL you were sent, or your playlist URL if that is what your account uses.
- Save. The channel list and library load; use the search box to find a channel quickly.
A wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi gives the steadiest picture, especially for HD.
Amazon Fire TV Stick
- From the Fire TV home screen, search for and install the Downloader app.
- In Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options, allow installs from Downloader.
- Open Downloader and enter the download address for your chosen player (for example IPTV Smarters or TiviMate). Install it when the file finishes.
- Open the player and add your subscription: sign in with your username, password and server URL, or add your playlist URL.
- Wait for the channels and guide to load, then start watching.

Android phone, tablet or TV box
- Install an IPTV player from Google Play (IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, or similar).
- Open it and choose to add a new playlist or user.
- Enter your login details, or your playlist URL if that is what you were issued.
- Let the list load. On a TV box, set the app to open on boot if you want it to start automatically.
iPhone & iPad
- Install an IPTV player from the App Store — for example Smarters Player Lite or GSE Smart IPTV.
- Open the app and add a new user or playlist.
- Enter the username, password and server URL you were sent, or add your playlist URL.
- Save and open Live TV. Turn on the programme guide in the app’s settings if you want it.
Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL…)
- Open your TV’s app store and install an IPTV player app.
- Open the app. If it shows a device ID or MAC address, note it down.
- Enter your subscription details in the app. If the app loads playlists from a website rather than in-app, send your device ID to support on WhatsApp and they will link your subscription to it.
- Restart the app; the channel list appears.
Older TVs vary a lot. If your model has no suitable app, an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Android TV box is the simplest fix.
Recommended player apps
Tivo IPTV is not tied to one app. The commonly used players are IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate (Android / Fire TV), GSE Smart IPTV and VLC. Any player that accepts a username/password/server or a playlist URL will work.
If something doesn’t load
Double-check the login details for typos, confirm the device is online, and try closing and reopening the app. The troubleshooting page covers buffering, black screens and login errors in detail. For anything else, contact support.
